Norman Naisbett, died 28/12/2007 age 61 worked as a brick layer lived most of his life at Town End Farm but last march moved to the East End loving husband of kathleen precious dad of Norman and Leanne and precious granda to Bethany.
My dad was a brick layer all his life with his brother(Ted). He worked away in germany from 1989 for 8 years just coming home every few months for a coule of weeks i loved him coming home he always brought loads of presents back for me and he would bring german plates back for my mam for the walls. My dad never looked his age he was very dark skinned off working out side and even at 61 his hair was dark brown he didnt have a grey hair in his head my dad had a very dry sense of humor you never knew when he was joking or not he was so funny though even when he didnt mean to be and he was cute with it he wasnt bothered what he said to people he just said what he thought there and then but would never intentionally be rude even though mostly he would take the mick out people.my dad was very old fashioned and very protective especially with me (Leanne) teens had to be in early on a night and even on a weekend and if i was 5 minites late he would out looking me he was just so protective and used to worry alot he used to say wait till you have kidds. As my dad got older he melowed probably because i got older too the older we both got the closer we both got we turned into the bestest friends When could go anywhere together and have a laugh. My dad was crazy on the Beatles and John Lennon he was always playing there music and singing there songs he had every book and video and even dressed like them. I always remember his beatle boots he bought ive still got them he had them forever my mam used to go mad because he would never have them off and they used to squeek when he walked. My dad got on well with my partner David, David loved him so much although they had there times but david would just laugh it off you couldnt do much else my dad was so serious at times.when he was 59 he was diagnosed with renal failure just out of the blue and in a matter of weeks was getting dyalisis 3 days a week it was like a part time job he said and he hated it but he always kept his chin up loved his life and was happy would moan but just got on with it he was great. Then when he was 60 he heart was playin up and eventually had a tripple heart bypass which went really well in a matter of weeks he was up and about back to normal happy and full of beans,he was told to rest but 3 days ater his opperation he was in the garden planting plants he just coped really well his garden was his life every day he was in it doing somethig to it or he would sit on his bench and tip his head back and relax in the sun. My dad meant the world to me he was my back bone and i was his we totally depended on each other although my mam was there all the time and they had a excellent relationship and friendship he would always turn to me he was my best friend and i was his. I love and miss him so so much.

merry christmas

A Christmas Wish
How very much you're missed
Isn't easy to explain
For, words never could convey
The sadness and the pain.

Although gone now from this life
You've left memories to treasure
That are the sweetest kind
And will softly stay forever.

At Christmastime especially
You're missed throughout each day
And all those lovely memories
Are with us, here to stay

love you dad from leanne xxxx

god saw you getting tired,
a cure was not ment to be.
so he put his arms around you,
and whispered come with me.
with broken hearts we loved you,
as we heard you had passed away.
although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
your golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
god broke our hearts
to prove to us he only takes the best

missin you so much dad xx

a year ago God looked around his gardenand found an empty place, he then looked down upon us and saw your tired face he put his arms around you and lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. he saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered peace of thine. it broke out hearts to loose you but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home. you are loved and remembered eveyday dad and always in my heart. leanne xx
